I'd gladly offer some of my Scandinavian death metal CDs to increase the variety, but then again, you actually want listeners.

Soon you will be the new Kid Leo.

Nice set. I especially like the J&MC choice. One question: Why the Calexico version, and not the Arthur Lee/Love original?

a: because the calexico happened to be sitting right on the shelf at eye level, as opposed to 'forever changes' which i did not find on the shelf.

b: it was 5:30am and i was somewhat on autopilot.

actually, i do find the calexico version infinitely better than attempts by the damned and matthew sweet, though the original can't be beat.

though i have to admit, seeing calexico do that song live made me get the shivers in that really good way.
